Finishing off my trip to HK, here are the last highlights.
We went for a day trip to Macau. Macau is like Asia's Las Vegas. Lots of casinos, women, and shopping. Since I'm not a big gambler, we visited some cultural spots.
Here I am praying for a wish. I really didn't understand how the system worked at first.

What you do is you pray for whatever you want, and start shaking the tube till one of the numbered sticks falls out. Then you take the stick over to the fortune tellers, who decodes the stick in the context of your wish. I was boring and prayed to have a normal sleep cycle in med school.

We also went to this old army fortress in the center of the city. This picture is fun because the old guy to the right in the sweat suit was marching in place and counting off really loud. It was kind of awesome. We enjoyed it.

The next day we were back in HK and visited the big Buddha. The statue is far from the main city, so you either have to take a really long bus ride or the tram. We waited really long to ride the tram, so when we finally got to the cars, I had to break out the peace signs.

Apparently the tram is pretty unsafe. They've had accidents.

Yeah, I wear that shirt a lot.
After the big Buddha, we went to Disneyland for 2 hours. Luckily it had rained a little, so a lot of people had already left the park.

Space mountain was fun. Vinny asked every cute Disneyland employee what he should ride, and they all suggested Space Mountain. He's got sweet game.

The buzz lightyear ride was actually really cool.

Fireworks in the rain.

Final night in HK. Apparently there were lots of Triads on this street.
