Every day in Hong Kong was jam packed, but my first day was extra special. Dave had to work pretty late, so Vinny was my tour guide. Vinny knows a lot about HK, but the thing he knows best is the city's sin. I mean, whether it be gambling or girls, Vinny enjoys his vice. Since some of the places he took me were a bit dodgy and pictures were definitely not allowed, I'm going to skip over a large chunk of our night. Don't worry, we didn't do anything bad. If you're interested in learning more, feel free to ask me in person. I don't think email can really do these places justice.
Vinny works in Central, which is located on the Hong Kong side. It used to be the city's major hub, so there are a lot of expensive antique shops that cater to Western tastes. At night, Central has a pretty crazy scene and is jampacked with the Finance type. Lots of blazers and striped button down shirts if you know what I mean...

This is one of the most famous egg custard shops. Pretty good stuff.

Before the 1997 hand over, most of the British government's operations were located in Central. Right in the middle of the area is this big complex composed of western architecture. I think it's pretty much abandoned now.

Vinny works for the family Diamond business. It's incredible to see him with so much responsibility. Back in England, Vinny and I spent a week at his house in the middle of nowhere wearing bathrobes, eating ramen, and watching Tom and Jerry cartoons. Now, he cuts diamonds, and sells to major retailers throughout the world. It was fun to see his work.

As many of you know, HK is a major business center. Lots of tall buildings with expensive fountains in front.

Kowloon skyline.

Hong Kong island skyline. The tallest building is where Batman swooped in and broke some skulls.
After a boat ride and a lot of walking, Vinny and I had dinner on the Kowloon side. I forgot to take pictures, but the drunken pigeon and jellyfish were great. Like I said before, Vinny knows his vice. Here he is explaining to me what it's like to chase women in HK.

Vinny is the closest thing to a cartoon character I know. While he was going on about girls, his nose started to bleed! I'm serious. It was amazing and hilarious.

Tripe anyone?

Vinny took me to the nicest hotel bar in Hong Kong, and it had the craziest urinals I've seen. Not only do you pee into some wicked sculpture, you get to do it while looking over the city.

Cheesy vodka bar. I felt really gross wearing that nasty fake fur coat.
After all the dodgy stuff, we went back to Central to meet up with some of Vinny's friends.

The only way I survived up until this point was two red bull.

Kind of ballin at the club. Actually, not really. Still, as Vinny watched from afar, I danced the forbidden dance and tried my best to woo some HK girls. I guess it kind of worked.

Digits! There, I proved it. Check the box off. It would be the last night we'd go out clubbing.
