Sleep machine

Many people don't know this, but I'm a champ when it comes to napping. Throughout my life I've been mastering the power nap. I think I had good teachers in my family. My mom would always tell me how she napped in her office after lunch. My sister Janet showed me how to fall asleep anywhere.

Before large belly skinny legs was created, my original idea for a blog was called 'before the nap'. It would chronicle all my naps, and what I did before and after each one. The idea came from a conversation with my friend Bryan. I was telling him how much I loved napping, and how they make me 100% at everything I do. Before studying, going out, or even reading a book, a nap would refresh my mind and make me many times happier. Anyway, the idea fell through as I didn't think I could handle the volume of posts I would need to create.

Earlier this week, several of my friends showed me this article on napping. It's pretty interesting, and I suggest you all take a good look. Many of my friends who don't like napping usually say they take really long naps. That's not the way to go. A good 20 minute nap works wonders. You can bet that by the end of my first year in medical school, I'll know where all the good spots are for catnaps and a little shuteye.
